Rhonda Lost 20 Pounds - This could be me or you!

Rhonda Hunter, a 36 year old woman, with the stats of 5'4" and a starting weight of 143, lost 20 pounds in 4 months! I'm always looking for stats that are similar to mine so I had to read this story. Rhonda had been wanting to bring her weight back in to the 120 range forever. And in 4 months, she did it!

Rhonda did it by walking. She started with a 45 minute walking program and gradually increased to walking an hour and a half every day (!!!). She also limited processed foods in her diet and watched the portion size of her food. Let's join Rhonda and lose that 20 too! See the story at

Tales From the Gym - Part 1

The thin tennis-skirt wearing woman on the elliptical machine next to me got a "finger wag and a shush" for using her cell phone while on her machine. I laughed (inside) and almost fell off my elliptical-- I don't think I'm coordinated enough yet to use my arms, feet and laugh.

Weekly Weigh In - 138 pounds

Down 4 pounds. I know, you know, we all know it's just a water loss. But, dang, it feels good to be back in the 30's.

Six Months to Go

First came the joy and excitement -- We're going on a Mediterranean & Greek Isles cruise in June! And that excitement continued... books were bought, websites were searched and.... I weighed myself everyday and thought... today, will be the day that I lose weight.

Ok, I'll be the first to admit it... I've been trying to lose 10-20 pounds of baby weight for the past 10 1/2 years. I say 10-20 pounds because I've gone up and down -- but here goes, the honesty part... as of today, I'm 5'3, in my early 40s, and weigh 142. I've been as small as a size 4 and as large as a size 12.

My motivation -- I want to weigh 122 pounds. I want to be in shape. I want to wear cute clothes and not think about my weight.

I spent a ton of time on the computer -- probably way too much. As I've been researching information for our cruise, I found that I'm not alone. A lot of women want to lose weight and look good on their cruise. I hope you'll join me on my journey to weight loss. I'll be sharing all the cruise tips that I've learned from friends and the internet too.
